System vanished and 169 ip

I have a system made up of play1s, play3s, ones (mk1 and 2), and amp. My whole system has vanished from the app as of today. I have tried powering everything off, rebooting the router, then bringing the sonos devices up but no luck. For some reason the play3 (which is my one wired device) is giving itself a 169 address despite having a reserved IP address on my router. In fact, at this troubleshooting stage, I have left all of my other sonos devices powered off. I have changed ISP today but I have not changed router, nor has the router been reset or restored to factory settings. The only thing that has changed is my connection to the outside world - my internal network remains the same as it was yesterday. I've seen a few people mention that this seems to be a bug in the new version go the app which requires and whole system reset which will result in me losing all my playlists, etc. Surely this cannot be the case? Any help much appreciated. Thanks

I´ve just download the new app version and I can´t add songs to queue, does anyone have this problem? or the app doesn´t have that feature anymore?

The new Android app is not ready for prime time!

I downloaded and installed the new Sonos app for Android. It doesn’t work. It takes MINIUTES for it to find my speakers- it wants only to install a new system. No problem with the PC controller that’s been around for awhile. Also, it can’t find my music library.Please don’t put out new software without testing. You wouldn’t do that for your speakers & other hardware, would you?

Is it just me, or is there no way to set alarms in the new app?

I always use my Sonos one as a alarm to get up in the morning, it’s the only reason I bought the thing. And I absolutely hate that they removed alarms in the new app. Please bring them back as soon as possible.

Updated to the new app… Why do things just get worse.Song titles no longer shown in the albums, or whilst playing.At the very least I should be able to revert to the previous app version.not too happy

Sonos Setup Not Working

Here‘s what happening:I choose setup new speaker I choose the Roam SL It says „There was a problem setting your Sonos Roam SL…Let‘s try something else“ Click Continue To continue, let‘s connect your movable device to the temporary network… I click Join Next your Sonos will play a chime… I click continue It plays a sound Says finalizing connection… “We‘re having trouble finalizing the connection to your Sonos Roam SL I click Try Again it fails again „We couldn‘t verify the audio passcode“6 I try then the PIN number This also fails „There was a problem during setup“ I‘ve tried restarting my device, I‘ve tried on both my iPad and my iPhone. Is this speaker just broken? What else can I try?

New Sonos App and Accessibility

At Sonos, we take accessibility seriously and aim to build listening experiences that everyone can enjoy. The redesigned Sonos app was built from the ground up to support both modern and future Sonos experiences, and as part of that, we’ll be implementing ongoing improvements and enhancements over time. On May 7, the app will have basic support for screen readers, allowing you to swipe through and read through all items on the screen. Following launch, ongoing improvements to the accessibility of the updated mobile app will remain a top priority. A software release available May 21 will improve screen readers so you can select items on screen in any order. Further improvement will be added to the experience regularly until we reach parity with the S2 app by late June. In the meantime, the Sonos Windows and Mac applications will continue to operate as normal until our new web app has met our accessibility standards. Additional Feature Request: Sonos S2 Refresh...Positive News

BTW...I like the S2 refresh thus far. One feature in particular that’s almost ready for prime time. Let me explain…If there is a problem with a Sonos hardware update the app now shows you the Room Name and identifies the speaker that failed to update. Sweet!! There's one nit pick… even though it takes you to the correct room...It doesn’t tell you which speaker (left or right) regarding a stereo pair or surrounds. 😥Maybe that should be an additional feature request (add on to S2). Oh well...I guess one can’t have everything; or can they 🤔
