Sonos Launches New Trade Up Program
Sonos introduces new hardware upgrade program, offering customers an opportunity to trade up to next generation Sonos products and responsibly recycle older products.
Santa Barbara, Calif. – October 30, 2019 – Sonos (Nasdaq: SONO) today announced Trade Up, a program that rewards Sonos customers who upgrade older products. At launch, owners of Connect, Connect:Amp, ZP80, ZP90, ZP100, ZP120, and the first generation Play:5 are eligible for a 30 percent discount on any new Sonos product for each original product replaced.
Sonos launched the original versions of these first generation speakers and components more than a decade ago and has since released powerful upgrades in Sonos Amp, Sonos Port, and the second generation Play:5, in addition to entirely new speakers such as Sonos One, Beam, and Move. These products include technology that enables new features such as AirPlay2, voice control, Automatic Trueplay, and more innovations in the years ahead:
“Our focus has always been to create a system of products that offer choice and sound great for years. As we’ve introduced newer generations of Sonos speakers and components, we built for the future, offering a step-change upgrade in hardware and software for even more power and capability,” said Zack Kramer, VP, Retail at Sonos. “Today, we’re offering the opportunity to trade up to these new Sonos experiences.”
Customers with eligible products can follow a simple process to register for the Trade Up discount and find the best way to recycle their product.
